TOUR DU MONT-BLANC

The “Tour du Mont-Blanc” is a legendary experience for any mountain biker, offering all along the route landscapes and panoramic views of exceptional beauty. On an itinerary perfectly adapted to eMTB, you will cross 3 different countries, France, Switzerland and Italy, and discover a rich mountain culture. While crossing different alpine valleys, breathtaking panoramas of snowy peaks, glaciers, waterfalls and mountain lakes will be offered to you. Whether you're an experienced mountain biker or an intermediate, you'll ride technical mountain trails to challenge yourself or fast and flowy ones to get incredible sensations. On your powerful eMTB, you'll tackle the highest alpine passes at over 2500m with enough energy to make the most of the descents. Comfortable hotels and tasty meals will be waiting for you every night in charming mountain villages. An adventure to check off your bucket list!

PROGRAMM

CHAMONIX - CHAMPEX : 

From France to Switzerland in an outstanding landscape.
 

DISTANCE : 48 km           A+ : 2 340 m          D- : 1 980 m

The "Tour du Mont-Blanc" starts from Chamonix, the world capital of mountaineering, offering a breathtaking view of the Mont-Blanc and the snowy peaks.

We will go up the valley to the “Glacier du Tour”, before starting the first ascent of the day to the Col de Balme, on the Swiss border. A first technical descent will make us switch to Swiss territory and will put us in conditions for the rest of the trip. From the Col de La Forclaz, we will ride exclusively on a mountain singletrack to reach a high altitude alpine meadow. At last, we will dive on a forest trail to our first accommodation in Switzerland on the shore of Champex Lake.
